The MIHS Planning Team, is putting together an extraordinary experience to help us celebrate 50 years & see what we can remember. We can connect on Facebook, but there's nothing like the excitement of being together. So, come on out, and let's enjoy each others company for a round of golf, turn on the dance floor and a fun dinner with friends!
Comments from the Planning Team
Class of '75! I can't believe we are about to celebrate our 50th reunion - have to admit it's quite the milestone. The committee is working hard to ensure a memorable and entertaining evening.
They even put me on the beer selection team so you know they are doing it right!. Mark your calendars - can't wait to see everyone August 23, 2025.

Happiness is … good people, good food, good music, good time!
Lots of you people know that I was raised by a Southern Bell who really knew how to cook. Enjoying a delicious meal with family and friends tops my list for an A+ time…
I joined our catering team to scout out the most delicious meal that we can share at our main event on Saturday, for our 50th High School Reunion! I’m on this committee because I think good food and good music are 2 of the most important ingredients for a smashing good time and I’m so happy to be a part of this curating team! Countdown to blastoff….
See you in August, people!!

There is never a time like the present to get involved with the '75 Islander Reunion!
I love the challenges of putting on events and helping things run as smoothly as possible.
There are plenty of things to do, so join us if you can and get a head start on the fun!
Remembering my high school days fondly, and looking forward to revisiting my formative years.

Having a life-long interest in media production, I was excited to be asked to help the Reunion Committee with assembling the soundtrack and slide show for our reunion.
From being the "sound guy" for a 1970's Mercer Island garage band (remember Krakatoa?), to recently working on production here at Chelan's local radio station, I'm delighted to apply some of that experience to our 50th high school reunion.
I hope to see you there!

"I am so excited for this!! I want to help with the decorating, by using my years of experience working for Anthony's Homeport to create a fun event for everyone.
I live in Cle Elum so not always able to attend meetings, but having fun being in touch via Zoom with people on the committee!
I did also work on the 25th or was it the 20th so I have some institutional knowledge to contribute."

I like to tell stories. The MIHS 1975 – 50th reunion is a story, an interesting story, a story of individuals some that first meet in elementary school, some have known each other for a lifetime, some only knew each other for the three years of high school. I am working with Tony Crosetto to put together a slide show that hopefully captures stories of individuals and groups with a common high school experience and what has happened in our lives since high school. Tony and I want to get as many photo images and stories as possible from classmates and then hopefully combine with existing photos and then get to work on putting together something worth watching at the reunion that treasures these memories…..

Come celebrate with us! We can't wait to see you!
Reaching our 50th high school reunion is a special time to reflect on the
memories made, and to reconnect with old friends! Never an old year ends..but
someone thinks of someone, old days, old times and old friends..
Basketball games, football games, Mr Tougaw, Friday night at
Herfy's, night skiing at Stevens, Mushroom, Drill Team, Alpental parties,
Drivers ed, Mr Gribble, DECA, Coach Pepple...
Happiness is reconnecting with an old friend after a long
time, and feeling like nothing has changed! No matter how long it has been, we
invite you to come back home! Being able to hug a friend that you haven't seen
in years, to hear somebody's laugh, to tell those stories is priceless! This is
why I wanted to be part of our reunion committee..to be able to celebrate our
big 5-0 with all of you in August 2025!

50 years! Seems like yesterday that I was sitting in the MIHS hallway waiting for my American Studies class to start.
Now I’m looking forward to seeing classmates from long ago. I hope the font on the name tags is large enough to see and I can remember faces with names.
We anticipate many can attend this golden reunion and re-unite with past classmates, catch up on decades in a matter of hours!
